Unit prices: the fair way to compare
Price per ounce, per count or per load.
Package sizes are designed to be hard to compare. The unit price, usually on the shelf tag in smaller print, tells you what you're really paying.
How to use them
- Compare the same unit: per ounce with per ounce
- Bigger isn't always cheaper per unit, especially on sale
- For cleaning products, compare per load or per use
- If there's no unit price, divide the price by the quantity
Only buy bigger if
You'll use it all before it goes off, and you have room to store it.
