Price matching and price adjustments
Policies vary. Know them for the stores you use most.
Some stores match competitors' prices, and some refund the difference if the price drops soon after you buy. Policies vary a lot, and change.
Before you ask
- Read the store's current policy online
- Have the competitor's price ready, for the identical item
- Keep receipts for bigger purchases for a few weeks
- Expect exclusions: marketplace sellers, clearance and limited-time sales
