Guides / Time it well
Stockpiling: when it saves, when it doesn't
Buying ahead only saves money if you use it all.
Buying a few months' supply at a low price can save money. Buying a year's supply of something that expires, or that you stop using, doesn't.
Stock up on
- Things you use steadily and that keep: toilet paper, soap, canned goods
- Items at or below your price book low
Be careful with
- Food and medicines that expire
- Products you might switch from
- Anything you don't have room to store
